Would you like to help your child achieve their goals and build a strong foundation for a bright future?
Does the essay really matter? The truth is, there is no essay that will make an unqualified student acceptable. However, a great essay can help a qualified applicant stand out from the competition. A great essay just might be what turns a "maybe" into a "yes!"
IN THIS COURSE, WE'LL GUIDE YOUR DAUGHTER OR SON TO:
Narrow down and pick a topic that resonates with your teen: It's much easier to write an essay when the topic is close to your teen's heart. Plus it makes their essay shine for admissions officers. Whether you are using the Common App or a topic specific to a particular college, we'll help your daughter or son find a way to use that topic to their advantage.
Find out what goes into an intriguing essay: A great essay can be the tipping point on admissions decisions. Knowing what to put in that essay is a key to crafting content that stands out. This course will assist your teen in finding what content best displays their uniqueness. Showing growth is a sign of maturity and intelligence. Admissions officers can see through "superhero" stories. By being real and authentic, students show that growth and increase admissions chances. We'll help your future college graduate to be honest and specific; and we'll show them how to avoid over-used, clichéd topics.
Craft original and sincere content with an interesting perspective: You want college admissions officers to want to keep reading your teen's essay. One of the great things about the essay is the ability to show how real your teen is. In this course, your daughter or son will build the skills needed to deliver sincere content in a way that is gripping. We'll also assist your teen in positioning themselves to stand out from the other qualified students (which is the whole point!).
Edit the essay for correctness: Little mistakes detract from the essay's purpose - showing your teen at their very best. We'll help your teen fix those errors and really show their best self.
